Business2Blogger

June 17th, 2010

I friend of mine ,who is also a paid blogger has referred me to a new (to me anyway) company called Business2Blogger
I looked really interesting so I decided to take a chance and sign up! It’s FREE and it does exactly what it says on the tin ,It connects up bloggers with businesses and what do you have ?
A match made in heaven!!
Apparently, the company will give me the opportunity to choose from not hundreds, but thousands of paid opportunities, products, services, discounts, and more and it does sound very exciting to me!

It seems to have taken a fresh twist on the traditional, if not somewhat boring paid to blog scene. I have my eye on the the non payment compensation part. Book reviews? I am so there!

I look forward to be part of this blogging platform!

Wish me luck!

Here comes GoodBye

I’m fed up getting spam emails advertising Viagra and invites to apply for a new Credit Card. Contrary to popular belief I am not male so therefore do not have any issues of that variety-thank you. I do have a credit card with a very healthy credit limit, the balance worries me somewhat but if I knuckled down and stopped spending money on craft stash, I could have the thing wiped in about four months.

Speaking of money, according to some online dating statistics the average ‘date’ in the UK costs £200 with men spend almost ten times as much buying drinks and meals for potential partners than women. However women match the amount spent dating, as a result of the cash they invest in pre-date preparation.Desperate much eh?

I’m being harsh I think! Okay I met my beloved on a HND course many, many moons ago and honestly we were just friends to begin with. A lot of folk claim that a female cannot have platonic friendships but for me anyway that is true! I was on a computing course with 26 males and me, so I can tell ya it does happen! Yes, they were all geeks or geeks in training so dippy Dave was ranked in there too! He was a dip to be fair , but within four months he had won me over and less than three months after that we got hitched! That was oohh ten-eleven years ago now? It is still working so  don’t need to get involved with the dating scene just yet methinks!

It Never Ends

Dear Son One came home from School today and announced that he didn’t have enough pencils or crayons left in his pencil case. We can pick him up plenty of packets of crayons from the likes of Asda or even Tescos for pennies, but I was thinking for his actual writing pencils or pens I would get him something really special like a set of personalized pens.
I just know that he would really love something like that. I think maybe a set of colouring pencils as well instead of crayons though. They might last a little longer than crayons.
I have bought him countless packets of crayons from every store imaginable, but he just keeps snapping them into little pieces which either end up in the bottom of his bag or under the sofa ( don’t ask me how!)

The school insists on naming every single item that he brings into school ,so that would stop them from whinging about anything. It might also convince Dear Son One to take a little bit more care with his belongings.

So yeah, I do think that investing in something along those lines might be a wiser if  not cheaper option in the long run.
