So we managed to survive Christmas..The day itself was very relaxed and quite a quiet affair, the boys were delighted with the Santa toys ,so that made the expense worthwhile. The Thomas trackmaster set seems to be the clear winner-even more popular than the Lego. Daddy even can’t stop playing with it! With nine trains ,a plane,a chopper,tractor ,boat and over 600 pieces of track ,it should be! That isn’t counting the windmills and outhouses though..

My hand has been pretty dead for the past while, but I went for a lie down today at about 3.30pm and got up at about 4pm and for some reason it feels pretty normal. Here’s hoping it lasts!! i have some killer Anya’s that I want to play with!

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!

We got the shop done ,everything we needed (including batteries!) after discounts we only paid £89.pence! I love Tescos!

We bought £50 of electric with the remainder,so all is good!

The sales have started already , well Silly Monkey Crafts have been running Advent promotions over the past month and I dipped in again, with 50 sheets of bazzil for £20 and a couple of sets of Miss Anya/Greeting Farm stamp sets just there now..!

My carpal tunnel has been playing up lately. I completely forgot that I was given that diagnosis a few months back. I was sitting moping buckets over the past few days thinking that the MS is acting out but after having a quick look online it seems that it is classic CTS..Arsewipe me eh? Okay so i don’t have an offical diangnosis, as I haven’t had the tests, my neuro wants me to go to Belfast and I can’t that far, so I treat it as such, until I know otherwise.

Anyway, this was only meant to be a ten minutes online job to pay a few bills, I doubt I’ll get online tomorrow what with it being  CHRISTMAS EVE!!

So we did it again. I wish Christmas would hurry up and get here because this is starting to get ridiculous.We went to Smyths today -to get batteries and walked out £142 lighter…

A storage unit at £40 quid, a 66cm plush Mickey Mouse, three more trains,more track and a little windmill thing set for the Thomas job and a handheld thing for DS1 At this rate we mght as well keep half the stuff back and save it for next year! We left the boys with the grandparents, thankfully. I think if we had of taken them with us we wouldn’t down that obviously. We just strolled around the shop going “ah DS1 would like that” and “Oh that is perfect for DS2”

BLAH

We are idiots.

Tomorrow we have to go do the Christmas grocery shop..Another £150 no doubt.

Christmas better hurry upand get here because we are going to be penniless otherwise!

Next year ,I am going back to last minute mommy.We started in early October this year-and look what happens!!

Oh  and we forgot the batteries!

A day without a perdurable is like a day without sunshine..yeah okay! I have no clue but there you go.

Nothing to show because I haven’t had time to scratch my eyeball let alone anything else! My Miss Anya Love stamp st turned up today- it only took the royal mail uh five days to deliver it? Rock on RM!!

My punches and stamps were sent on the 19th so should be here sometime after New Years.

So I’m still waiting for Christmas..it’s so boring when you are ready to go and all you have to do is wait *glump*

anyway gonna head off into cyberspace for a wander methinks

We thought we had Santa all sewn up for the boys and well within the budget we had given ourselves. We went to today to Smyths ToyStore to get one last pack of track and the three Trains that we needed to complete it. We got them and a another trackmaster set that was reduced from £42.99 to £23.99 a  Mario Kart Race track for Ds1 and a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playset for DS2.. Instead of the £50 we expected to be paying out we somehow managed to spend another £129.99 Oh dear.

Which brings the grand total of Santa this year to – just over £512..yeah. I best go and wash the word sucker from my forehead!

what can you do though?  At almost five and almost three years of age, they remember all these things. We have played it differently in previous years as they were younger but it is a completely different ball game these days.

DS1 stars in his Christmas play on Thursday and then we break till January 4th!! Oh myself and the boys are going to see Santa on Friday- big excitment there!!

I just paid for the eBay massacre that I had the other evening-not bad £35. pennies and that included postage. I uh also spotted an Anya Miss Love set at Quixotic Paperie for a very silly £11.95 so I just had to..Yeah I’m bad and easily led but what can you do? Don’t answer that.

i just went a little crazy on eBay..My favourite seller of all time was having a 50% off sale and um..Well it was in Dollars and before the $12 postage it was $45..I got two Martha Stewart punches, three EK Success punches, some Hero Arts wooden stamps plus a set of clear Inkadoos.. I was a nice wee haul for the price! I do feel a tad guilty though-I mean it is Christmas in less than two weeks but um..

I managed to use my doe eyes to good effect and the blackmail convince the DH that buying my the rest of the Promarker set would be a wonderful gift for me!! hehehehe

I wish Christmas would hurry up and get here already! I dislike any holiday that disrupts my purchasing pleasure ..bah hum bug! We have all the boys gifts already bought,wrapped and hidden so the waiting part is the worst.

Speaking of  worst, not the best picture but the camera battery was dying so it was shot or wait 3 hours to recharge-I love this stamp, I got it last week from Quixotic Paperie which is officially my new favourite online retailer of all time!!
Isn’t she beautiful? Of course I never do them justice but gawds she and the rest of the bunch in Twinkle Tots range from the Greeting Farm are just uh!

I need to stop spending money..I have been on a rampage buying stash for the past two weeks…I needed a new lot of stamps because ,of all the stamps I have I didn’t have any that I wanted to play with. So I dropped about £60 in getting me some new ones-the Twinkle Tots range? How gorgeous are they? Lottie,Izzy,Madelyn and Max along with the cute shy Emmylou from the very fantastic Quixotic Paperie! I got four Koetie stamps from EMM,a set of 20 Alota Stamps coming in directly from Alota. Lots to play with!

I bought myself about 30 of the new Promarker colours tonight,I will pick up the rest before Christmas but honestly that is me done spending!! I did make good purchases, the stamps,the Martha Stewart punches, nesties some Sizzix dies but honestly it has to stop now!!

We have all the boys Santa toys in, bought in cash and the ones we had to order online have been paid off already,so really all we have to do now is wait!!

Anyway,off to bed because I think I have a bit of a cold coming on! I will take some shots of the new makes and post them tommorrow but now bed!!
